Recognizing the important role which women have played throughout the history of Uganda and more specifically the Northern Uganda Conflict, ARLPI has sought to mainstream the empowerment of women in all it does. ARLPI has made a deliberate effort to include women representation in all of her structures and seeks women leadership and participation in all of its activities.
GOAL: Effective participation of women in conflict transformation, human rights, good governance, peace building, & decision making at all levels.
OBJECTIVES:
