'Every Ugandan Brought Peace in North'

The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Aronda Nyakirima has said the UPDF has no institutional claim of bringing peace to Uganda but that every Ugandan in one way or the other contributed to the existing peace.

He said the UPDF will use the current calm to consolidate peace not only in Uganda but also in the region as it has done in Southern Sudan, Burundi and as part of the African Union peace keeping mission in Somalia...
